Allows political parties to submit translations of their statements of arguments (filed under ORS 251.115) for inclusion in translated versions of state voters' pamphlets on the Secretary of State's website

Translations of party argument statements must be in one of the five most commonly spoken languages in Oregon other than English

Translations must be filed by the person who filed the original statement, cannot be rejected under ORS 251.055, and must meet all statutory requirements for such statements

Translations are not required to be word-for-word identical but must be consistent with the meaning of the original version and are exempt from word count limitations

Applies to state and county voters' pamphlets distributed on or after January 31, 2026
