Oregon Department of Administrative Services must award a grant to the Chintimini Wildlife Center in Corvallis for building modern wildlife enclosures, ADA-accessible paths, and facilities to expand education and visitor opportunities

Base grant amount is $1.5 million, with an additional $500,000 available if the center raises matching funds from other sources

$2 million appropriated from the General Fund for the 2025-2027 biennium to fund the grant

Chintimini Wildlife Center is the only comprehensive wildlife rehabilitation center remaining in the Willamette Valley, serving Linn, Benton, Lane, Marion, and Lincoln Counties and caring for over 2,000 injured and orphaned animals annually

Declared an emergency measure effective July 1, 2025, with the grant provision repealed on January 2, 2028
