Creates a new "licensed nutritionist" profession requiring a master's or doctoral degree with coursework in medical nutrition therapy, at least 1,000 hours of supervised practice, and passage of the certified nutrition specialist examination

Raises dietitian licensure requirements from a baccalaureate degree to at least a master's degree from an accredited program, with 1,000 hours of supervised practice and passage of the registration examination for dietitians

Prohibits unlicensed individuals from providing medical nutrition therapy or using protected titles such as "dietitian," "nutritionist," "L.D.," "L.N.," or "L.D.N."

Renames the Board of Licensed Dietitians to the Board of Licensed Dietitians and Nutritionists, changing composition to include three licensed dietitians and one licensed nutritionist (reduced from four dietitians)

Authorizes licensed dietitians and nutritionists to provide services via telehealth, with provisions allowing out-of-state providers to treat Oregon patients under specified conditions; takes effect 91 days after session adjournment with operative date of January 1, 2026
