Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife shall encourage entities in the salmon and trout enhancement program to establish a fall Chinook salmon incubation nursery program in Coos County waterways within 100 miles of the Pacific Ocean

Egg distribution limited to no more than 500,000 eggs combined per calendar year, using only fish originating from Coos County hatcheries

Participating entities must submit annual reports detailing eggs deployed, brood stock sources, incubation box locations, adult fish returns, and other collected data

State Fish and Wildlife Commission required to report annually to the Legislative Assembly on progress of the salmon enhancement program and the Chinook incubation nursery program

Program provisions expire January 2, 2040; bill takes effect immediately upon passage as an emergency measure
