Oregon Business Development Department must create and distribute memorial plaques to K-12 schools honoring Senator Peter Courtney's role in supporting seismic rehabilitation funding for schools

Eligible schools are those that received distributions from the Education Seismic Fund (ORS 286A.768) beginning on or after January 1, 2009, and completed projects before the Act's effective date

Schools receiving plaques must prominently display them in a location easily visible to visitors within one year of receipt

Department must distribute plaques to qualifying schools no later than January 1, 2028; the provision governing initial distribution is repealed January 2, 2028

For future projects completed after the Act's effective date, the department must adopt rules requiring a portion of grant funds be used for memorial plaques
