Expands law enforcement authority to operate drones (unmanned aircraft systems) for responding to service calls, public safety emergencies, search and rescue, warrant execution, and exigent circumstances involving probable cause of criminal activity

Removes the previous requirement that law enforcement obtain a warrant or have probable cause with exigent circumstances before operating a drone

Requires cameras on law enforcement drones to be stowed or used only for airspace awareness when not connected to police activity

Prohibits drone surveillance over commercial property without owner consent and conspicuous posted notice, and prohibits drone use for traffic enforcement except when pursuing a fleeing suspect

Repeals ORS 837.330, 837.335, and 837.340, which contained prior restrictions on law enforcement drone use
