Community college boards must approve by majority vote any membership in state or national associations before the college may join

Boards may provide voting members with stipends up to $500 per month, plus reimbursement for actual expenses; members may opt out of stipends and receiving them does not make members college employees

Each board member must have an official institutional email address publicly posted on the community college website, effective 90 days after passage

Boards must add at least one full-time student as a voting member, elected or selected through student government, effective July 1, 2026

Community college districts must report to the Legislative Assembly on compliance by September 1, 2027, with input from student, faculty, and nonfaculty staff governance organizations
