Prohibits the sale of new clothes washers in Oregon without a microfiber filtration system, effective January 1, 2030

Requires filtration systems to have a mesh size of 100 micrometers or less and be active across all washing cycles

Filtration systems may be built into the washer or packaged as an in-line system for installation with the new unit

Mandates conspicuous labeling informing consumers of the filter, including instructions to check it regularly and dispose of captured lint with household solid waste

Authorizes the Department of Environmental Quality and Environmental Quality Commission to take preparatory actions before the 2030 operative date
