Establishes specific statutory deadlines for candidates to file portraits and statements for county voters' pamphlets, replacing the previous system where the Secretary of State set the date

Primary election filings: candidates may file no sooner than 120 days and no later than 68 days before the election

General election filings: candidates may file no sooner than 120 days and no later than 70 days before the election

Secretary of State retains authority to set filing deadlines by rule for vacancy elections and elections other than primary or general elections

Takes effect on the 91st day after the 2025 regular legislative session adjourns sine die
