School districts must designate all athletic competitions and extracurricular sports as "Males/Men/Boys," "Females/Women/Girls," or "Coed" based on biological sex

Biologically male students are prohibited from participating in athletic competitions or sports designated for females

Students harmed by district violations or retaliation for reporting violations may sue for injunctive relief, monetary damages (including psychological, emotional, or physical harm), and attorney fees

Public bodies, licensing organizations, and athletic associations are prohibited from taking adverse action against school districts that comply with these separation requirements

Takes effect upon passage as an emergency measure, with provisions first applying to the 2026-2027 school year; civil actions must be filed within two years of harm
