Removes requirements that accessory dwelling units (ADUs) in rural residential zones comply with defensible space requirements and Oregon Residential Specialty Code section R327 wildfire construction provisions based on statewide wildfire hazard map designations

Eliminates requirement that replacement dwellings on rural land comply with section R327 wildfire-resistant construction standards when located in areas identified as extreme or high wildfire risk

Retains county land use regulation requirements ensuring ADUs have adequate setbacks from resource-zoned lands and adequate access for firefighting equipment, safe evacuation, and staged evacuation areas

Amends ORS 215.495 (governing ADUs in rural residential areas) and ORS 215.291 (governing replacement of lawfully established dwellings)
