Oregon Department of Aviation gains authority to establish fees by administrative rule for airport site approvals, airport licenses, aircraft registration, registration transfers, duplicate certificates, and aircraft dealer licenses, replacing fixed statutory fee amounts

Current statutory fees being removed include airport licenses ($30-$150 by category), aircraft registration ($55-$700 by type), registration transfers ($15), duplicate certificates ($15), and dealer licenses ($250)

Beginning July 1, 2027, and each biennium thereafter, the department may adjust all fees for inflation using the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers, West Region (All Items)

Inflation-adjusted fees take effect on January 1 following each biennial adjustment and apply for two years

Changes apply to amounts collected on or after July 1, 2026
