State Parks and Recreation Department is exempted from the Public Contracting Code for most procurement activities, except for information technology, photogrammetric mapping, telecommunications contracts, and certain existing statutory obligations

Department's printing and binding for visitor communications, advertising, promotion, or education about recreational sites and resources is excluded from state printing control by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services

Timber sale contracts and related activities (harvesting, transporting, road construction) on lands managed by State Parks and Recreation Commission or Department remain exempt from the Public Contracting Code

Amendments apply to procurements the department solicits or conducts on and after the effective date

Act takes effect on the 91st day after the 2025 regular legislative session adjourns
