Increases the Retirement Health Insurance Account (RHIA) subsidy for eligible retired PERS members from $60 to $100 per month toward Medicare or Medicare supplement coverage

Expands eligibility for the RHIA subsidy to include members of the Oregon Public Service Retirement Plan (OPSRP), who were previously excluded

Eligible retired members must have at least 8 years of qualifying service and be eligible for federal Medicare coverage to receive the subsidy

Surviving spouses and dependents of deceased eligible retired members who meet Medicare eligibility requirements may also receive the subsidy

Subsidy payments from the Retirement Health Insurance Account are exempt from all state, county, and municipal taxes
