Oregon Department of Education and STEM Investment Council must review academic content standards, career and technical education requirements, and high school diploma requirements relevant to technology-based competitive student activities

Standards must be developed for how technology-based competitive student activities can satisfy credit requirements for high school diplomas and career and technical education programs

Standards must specify maximum credits a student may earn through individual and total technology-based competitive activities, while protecting students' right to continue participating even after reaching credit limits

Technology-based competitive activities qualifying for credits should also qualify for career and technical education grants under ORS 327.372 and 344.075, and receive access to school facilities, equipment, and transportation consistent with other interscholastic activities

Report summarizing the review and recommended standards due to the State Board of Education and Legislative Assembly interim committees by February 28, 2026; provisions sunset June 30, 2026
