Oregon Department of Transportation field offices in rural counties must prioritize drive test scheduling for local residents, including those living in the same county, within 50 miles of the office, or in counties without a field office

"Rural Oregon" is defined as 20 specific counties: Baker, Clatsop, Crook, Curry, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Hood River, Jefferson, Klamath, Lake, Malheur, Morrow, Sherman, Tillamook, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, Wasco, and Wheeler
