Oregon Department of Transportation must conduct a study on increasing vehicle weight limits for commercial trucks transporting fluid milk products, with report due to the Oregon Transportation Commission by September 15, 2028

Study must assess infrastructure impacts on bridges and pavements, economic impacts, parking/staging infrastructure, and develop a strategic implementation plan for a pilot program

Following the study, ODOT must establish a heavy vehicle pilot program allowing fluid milk transport vehicles to operate at up to 129,000 pounds on department-approved routes

ODOT must report pilot program results to the Joint Committee on Transportation and the commission by September 15, 2030

Study provision repealed January 2, 2029; pilot program provision repealed January 2, 2032; act takes effect 91st day after session adjournment
