Oregon's 83rd Legislative Assembly honors Leonard Warren Krug (1957-2024), an Ashland native who passed away on October 6, 2024

Krug worked his entire career at Pacific Power, starting in a temporary summer position and rising through the ranks until retirement, as a member of IBEW Local 659

Served as board member of Oregon South Coast Fishermen and founding member and president of Oregon Anglers Alliance, advocating to keep Oregon's fisheries and hatcheries open

Brought together recreational and commercial fishing communities with legislators, state and local officials, environmentalists, and tribal agencies to maintain sustainable fishing resources

A copy of the resolution shall be presented to his surviving family, including wife Anna, four children, and seven grandchildren
