Recognizes Dr. Terry for beginning the first U.S. clinical series of endothelial keratoplasty (EK) in 2000 and founding the international Endothelial Keratoplasty Group in 2002, with over 100 publications on advanced corneal transplant techniques

Celebrates his groundbreaking surgical techniques that have transformed corneal transplantation and restored vision to patients, including infant patient Paxton Call

Acknowledges his role as Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Oregon Health and Science University and his dedication to training ophthalmic surgeons worldwide
