Cities and Metro may add sites to their urban growth boundary (UGB) for manufactured dwelling parks or housing for older persons, in addition to lands added under existing UGB expansion provisions

Housing developments (excluding manufactured dwelling parks) must maintain affordability restrictions for at least 60 years, ensuring units remain available to households earning 120% or less of area median income

Metro's total additions under this provision are capped at 300 net residential acres, with a 120-day review period for city petitions

Manufactured dwelling park sites cannot be rezoned for 30 years after inclusion in the UGB

Program sunsets January 2, 2033; the act takes effect 91 days after the 2026 legislative session adjourns
