Prohibits health insurers from imposing deductibles, coinsurance, copayments, or other out-of-pocket costs on medically necessary cervical cancer screenings recommended by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (grade A or B) or Health Resources and Services Administration guidelines.

Eliminates cost-sharing for follow-up examinations to evaluate abnormalities detected during cervical cancer screenings, including HPV examinations with typing, cytology, dual stain, or colposcopy with biopsy.

Follow-up examinations are covered regardless of whether different samples from the prior screening are used or the examination occurs on a different date than the initial screening.

Applies to both group and individual health benefit plans offered by carriers in Oregon, with exceptions under ORS 742.008.

Takes effect for insurance policies issued, renewed, or extended on or after the effective date of the Act.
