Pledging support to the Shriners Hospitals for Children in dealing with a budget shortfall which threatens to close six hospitals throughout the country, one of which is located in Erie, and encouraging the Shriners Hospital System to explore every available option for making the system financially sound and for keeping open the Erie hispital, which serves the needs of children and families in a five-state area.
