Legislative Description

Authorizing, with the approval of the electors, part of the funds for volunteer fire and volunteer emergency services to be used for loans to municipal fire departments for the purpose of establishing or modernizing facilities to house firefighting apparatus equipment and purchasing firefighting apparatus equipment, rescue vehicles and protective and communications equipment and other equipment necessary for the proper performance of the departments' duties.
