Exempts treatment for medically verifiable disorders of sex development, treatment of complications from prior gender transition procedures, and medically necessary procedures to prevent death or major bodily impairment

Health care practitioners who violate the act face professional discipline from their licensing boards, with violations considered scope-of-practice infractions; act takes effect 60 days after enactment
