Creates new offense of intimidating health care workers when a person knowingly makes oral or written threats against health care practitioners, technicians, or hospital security officers with intent to intimidate, interfere with, or impede their official duties

First offense is graded as a summary offense; second or subsequent offenses are third-degree misdemeanors

Requires health care facilities to post notice of this offense conspicuously at each public entrance; conviction is barred if notice was not posted unless the person had actual notice of the offense

Defines protected workers using existing definitions from the Health Care Facilities Act and Medical Practice Act of 1985, including hospital security officers responsible for property and personnel safety

Takes effect 60 days after enactment
