Cyber charter schools in Pennsylvania are prohibited from accumulating an unreserved, undesignated fund balance exceeding 8% of total budgeted expenditures, beginning with the 2024-2025 school year

Combined assigned and committed fund balances cannot exceed 4% of total budgeted expenditures

Total combined fund balances (assigned, unreserved/undesignated, and committed) are capped at 12% of total budgeted expenditures

Amends the Public School Code of 1949 by adding Section 1741.1-A to establish these fund balance limits

Takes effect 60 days after enactment
