Authorizes the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections to issue electronic control gloves to corrections officers, with mandatory issuance required for officers assigned to units housing inmates who have received disciplinary sanctions and are segregated from the general population

Defines electronic control gloves as gloves with electrodes in finger pads or palm emitting less than 500 volts of electricity, designed to temporarily immobilize, restrain, or control individuals

Requires the department to establish public written policies on proper use, training, maintenance, and storage of the gloves

Prohibits issuance of electronic control gloves to any officer until they complete department-approved training on proper use

Officers issued the gloves must comply with existing use of force guidelines under 18 Pa.C.S. § 508 and departmental policies; act takes effect in 60 days
