Amends Pennsylvania's Vital Statistics Law of 1953 to allow individuals to predesignate their gender identity as "female," "male," or "nonbinary" for reporting on their death certificate

Registration districts must establish procedures for filing gender identity predesignations and must amend death certificates if the reported sex differs from the predesignated gender identity

Immediate family members, spouses, or legal guardians may challenge a death certificate's sex designation within 10 days by filing a court petition if the decedent did not file a predesignation

Without a predesignation, gender identity on death certificates shall be determined from existing documents including birth certificates, driver's licenses, Social Security records, court orders, passports, advance directives, or proof of clinical treatment for gender transition

Takes effect 60 days after enactment
