Allows school districts to use technology for accurate distance measurements when computing pupil transportation eligibility, and prohibits the Department of Education from requiring manual recording for distance reporting

Requires school entities to report detailed pupil transportation data to the Department of Education beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, including student counts and expenditures broken down by school entity students, charter school students, nonpublic school students, and out-of-state students

Mandates reporting on students experiencing homelessness, including total numbers, types of schools transported to, and number of transportation days provided

Requires school entities to identify vehicles used for "extraordinary transportation expenses," defined as wheelchair buses, vans, or transportation for students with severe health needs

Directs the Department of Education to annually publish collected transportation data on its public website and notify legislative appropriations and education committee leaders when data is posted; takes effect July 1, 2025 or immediately, whichever is later
