Requires all individual and group health insurance policies in Pennsylvania to cover prosthetic, orthotic, and pedorthic devices—including custom-fabricated, custom-fitted, prefabricated, and over-the-counter options—when prescribed by a physician, podiatrist, CRNP, or physician assistant

Mandates coverage for fitting, repair, and replacement of these devices when medically necessary, including devices designed exclusively for recreational, organized, or adaptive sports purposes

Requires Medicaid and contracted insurers to reimburse for covered devices at the Federal Medicare reimbursement rate

Allows insurers to require preauthorization and limits coverage to services provided by Pennsylvania-licensed orthotists, prosthetists, pedorthists, or orthotic fitters contracted with the insurer

Takes effect 60 days after enactment, with insurance policy requirements applying 180 days after the effective date for new or renewed policies
