GLP-1 agonists are defined as medications mimicking GLP hormones that trigger insulin release, block glucagon secretion, slow stomach emptying, and increase feelings of fullness after eating

Department must promulgate implementing regulations upon receiving federal approval

Act takes effect 60 days after enactment
