Juror daily compensation increases from the current tiered rate ($9/day for the first three days, $25/day thereafter) to a flat rate of $40 per day for all days of service

Travel allowance remains at 17 cents per mile (circular), with the existing exception that no travel allowance is paid in the first judicial district (Philadelphia)

County commissioners gain authority to select the method of juror payment, including check, debit card, bank transfer, or other methods

The chosen payment method cannot affect the amount of compensation owed to jurors

Effective date is 60 days after enactment
