Establishes a mandatory minimum sentence of at least 11 months imprisonment for persons convicted of illegal firearm possession under 18 Pa.C.S. § 6105, with an exception for those subject only to protection from abuse orders under § 6105(c)(3).

Increases mandatory minimum to at least 5 years for repeat offenders with a prior § 6105 conviction, and at least 15 years for those with two or more prior § 6105 convictions from separate criminal actions.

Sets mandatory maximum sentences at twice the mandatory minimum, overriding standard felony sentencing provisions.

Requires enhancing elements (facts triggering higher sentences) to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt and submitted to the fact-finder at trial, with parole prohibited until the minimum term is served.

Grants the Commonwealth appellate review rights if courts fail to apply mandatory minimums, with effective date 60 days after enactment.
