Establishes a Maternal Health Monitoring Pilot Program within the Department of Health to provide remote patient monitoring for maternal hypertension and diabetes to pregnant Medicaid recipients enrolled in participating managed care organizations

Remote monitoring devices must be HIPAA-compliant, FDA-authorized, and capable of tracking blood pressure, weight, blood glucose, and other health data via cellular transmission during pregnancy and up to three months postpartum

Department of Health will select one or more managed care organizations and one technology vendor to administer the program, with the pilot required to be operational within 180 days of contract execution

Department must submit an evaluation report to the Governor and legislative leadership within one year of implementation, including recommendations on whether to expand the program statewide

Pilot program authority expires two years after the effective date, and the act takes effect 90 days after enactment
