Restaurant license holders may obtain a permit to operate up to two additional satellite locations in Pennsylvania for selling liquor and malt or brewed beverages by the glass for on-premises consumption

Satellite locations must have at least 400 square feet of space, seating for at least 30 persons, and operate primarily as food service establishments run by persons of good reputation

Municipal approval is required before permit issuance, including at least one public hearing; municipalities must decide within 45 days or the application is deemed approved

Permits are valid for up to two years, are nontransferable, and require applicants to submit proof of financial capability, business plans, and security measures to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board

Locations must be at least 300 feet from churches, hospitals, schools, charitable institutions, or public playgrounds, and at least 200 feet from other licensed premises or satellite locations
