Grants civil immunity to volunteer security officers of religious organizations for injuries or property losses resulting from their protective actions

Immunity does not apply to acts that are reckless, malicious, grossly negligent, or wanton

Defines "security officer" as an unpaid volunteer who protects persons and property, monitors visitors, and deters or reports criminal activity such as theft, robbery, burglary, arson, vandalism, or trespass

Defines "religious organization" as a body organized primarily for religious worship or promoting spiritual development

Takes effect 60 days after enactment
