Increases the earnings threshold for workers to requalify for unemployment compensation after a disqualifying separation from 6 times to 15 times their weekly benefit rate

Applies to workers who left employment under disqualifying circumstances such as voluntary quit, willful misconduct, or failure to apply for suitable work

Maintains the existing requirement that workers must also complete 10 credit weeks of work to requalify

Exempts workers on employer-approved leaves of absence who make reasonable efforts to return to work upon expiration of the leave

Takes effect six months after enactment
