PA HB1714

Amends the Public School Code of 1949 to prohibit school boards from authorizing transportation for pupils enrolled in schools located outside Pennsylvania's boundaries

Existing law allows school districts to provide free transportation to students attending non-profit schools within district boundaries or up to 10 miles outside district boundaries

School districts must provide identical transportation provisions for nonpublic school students as they do for public school students during regular school hours

The act takes effect immediately upon enactment
