During the first six months, participants work 40 hours per week for an employer while receiving pay for only 20 hours, with TANF benefits continuing

After six months of employment, participants receive pay for 30 hours while working 40 hours and may continue receiving up to 70% of their cash assistance

After 12 months of employment, participants receive full 40-hour pay and TANF cash assistance is terminated

Act takes effect 60 days after enactment
