Directs the Department of Human Services to provide medical assistance (Medicaid) coverage for osteoporosis screenings and treatments for eligible recipients who have reached menopause, subject to federal approval

Addresses the gap between average menopause onset (age 51) and current bone density screening recommendations (age 65+), noting that up to 20% of bone loss occurs in the first five years of menopause

Takes effect 90 days after enactment, with insurance policy requirements applying to new filings or policies issued/renewed 180 days after the effective date
