PA HB1845

Amends the Pennsylvania Safe Drinking Water Act to add a definition of "abortion drug" as any medicine or substance used to terminate a pregnancy or kill an unborn baby, excluding contraceptives

Prohibits any person from causing abortion drugs to enter wastewater, public water supplies, public water systems, or Pennsylvania waters

Requires abortion drug manufacturers to ensure proper disposal of discarded drugs and to mitigate/remediate environmental effects, including endocrine-disrupting chemical byproducts from at-home abortion waste

Imposes strict, absolute, joint and several liability on manufacturers for cleanup and remediation costs if endocrine-disrupting chemicals from abortion drugs are found in water systems

When a specific manufacturer cannot be identified, liability is apportioned among all abortion drug manufacturers based on their share of national production; takes effect in 60 days
