Schools must annually provide eating disorder awareness and education information to parents, guardians, and key school personnel (principals, vice principals, counselors, psychologists) for students in grades 6-12 via email, mail, or website

Department of Health, in conjunction with Department of Education, must develop educational materials covering warning signs, risk factors, and resources about eating disorders, including body image disorders, excessive compulsive exercise, and orthorexia nervosa

Creates an Eating Disorders Advisory Committee with unpaid members from organizations including PA School Boards Association, PA Association of School Nurses, American Academy of Pediatrics PA Chapter, and National Alliance for Eating Disorders

Advisory Committee must meet at least twice during its first year (first meeting within 60 days of effective date) and at least once annually thereafter to reassess materials provided to schools

Educational materials must be made available to school entities within one year of the committee's establishment and posted in multiple languages on the department's website
