Schools may not use Native American names, symbols, or images as mascots, nicknames, logos, or letterheads unless they obtain written consent from a tax-exempt Native American rights organization founded before 1945

Schools using Native American imagery must conduct school-wide programs on Native American culture at least twice per year and offer coursework on Native American contributions to society

Schools must file annual reports with the State Board of Education detailing their Native American culture and history academic programs

Non-compliant schools become ineligible for Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association membership and cannot participate in PIAA-sponsored athletic contests

Applies to school districts, intermediate units, career and technical schools, charter schools, cyber charter schools, regional charter schools, and private schools; takes effect 60 days after enactment
