Authorizes the Governor to provide temporary Commonwealth resources to municipalities and Pennsylvania State Police following a line-of-duty death of a law enforcement officer, upon request from the affected agency

Permitted assistance includes deployment of State Police personnel for patrol or administrative duties, reimbursement to neighboring agencies providing coverage, financial assistance for overtime costs, and logistical support including equipment

Assistance is limited to 30 days following the line-of-duty death, unless the Governor extends it based on continuing need

Financial assistance cannot exceed amounts appropriated by the General Assembly for this purpose

Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, State Police, and Office of State Treasurer must develop procedures and criteria for requesting, approving, and distributing assistance
