School districts, charter schools, and other school entities must adopt "welcoming schools" policies within 90 days to ensure continued access to school zones for students, parents, guardians, and personnel regardless of immigration status

Designated school personnel must require immigration enforcement officials to present a signed judicial warrant before entering nonpublic school areas; entry is automatically denied if officials present only an administrative warrant, an unsigned warrant, or no warrant at all

School personnel are prohibited from inquiring about or sharing information regarding the immigration status of students, their families, or other school employees, and school bus contracts must include provisions barring operators from assisting immigration enforcement

Schools must notify parents within 48 hours if their child is subject to an enforcement agency request, and superintendents must submit detailed incident reports to the school board within 5 days of any enforcement action

Professional development plans must include 4 hours of annual training on welcoming schools policies, warrant requirements, and student privacy protections, with the Department of Education required to publish implementation guidelines within 30 days
