Center for Local Government Services must develop a model zoning ordinance within six months to help municipalities regulate data centers and mitigate community impacts

Model ordinance must address dimensional standards, setbacks from residential zones, landscape buffers, visual screening, water/sewage/electric documentation, noise and vibration limits, emergency response planning, and aesthetics/parking requirements

Center for Local Government Services must provide assistance to municipalities upon request when they are considering adopting, amending, or repealing data center zoning provisions

Model ordinance must be updated annually by April 1

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
