Caps fees for nonemergency medical services requested by inmates at Pennsylvania state correctional facilities at $1 maximum

Amends Title 61 (Prisons and Parole) Section 3303(b) governing the Medical Services Program

Requires the Department of Corrections to amend all inconsistent rules and regulations, including 37 Pa. Code § 93.12, within 180 days of the effective date

Takes effect 60 days after enactment

Preserves existing authority to charge inmates fees for medical services related to injuries they inflicted on themselves or other inmates
