Doubles the surcharge assessed in cases before magisterial district judges from $5 to $10 per docket number in criminal cases and per named defendant in civil cases where constables perform services

Increases civil and landlord-tenant case fees for constables, including service of complaints ($13 to $20), levying goods ($75 to $125), executing orders of possession ($13 to $20), ejectment ($90 to $150), and courtroom security ($13 to $25 per hour)

Raises criminal case fees substantially, including warrant execution ($25 to $50), taking custody of defendants ($5 to $25), court attendance ($13 to $25), and prisoner transport ($38 to $50 per prisoner plus increased hourly rates)

Maintains existing provisions that counties are not required to pay surcharges on behalf of indigent defendants, and that fees in dismissed or indigent cases are assessed to the county or affiant

Takes effect 60 days after enactment
