Municipal elected officials who vote for laws, regulations, or policies that decriminalize state offenses, prohibit enforcement of state penalties, or direct police not to enforce state law would commit a first-degree misdemeanor

Municipal elected officials and public employees who direct or induce police officers under their supervision to not enforce state laws or penalties would also commit a first-degree misdemeanor

Any existing municipal law, regulation, or policy that negates or limits enforcement of state law is declared null and void

Exceptions apply to the Attorney General, district attorneys, peace officers, and their subordinates acting under their direction

Effective date is 60 days after enactment
