Department of Education must develop and provide optional materials for school entities to incorporate into social studies instruction celebrating students' unique lived experiences in Pennsylvania, timed to coincide with America's 250th independence anniversary

Materials should encourage students to interact across diverse backgrounds, share personal and family stories, and develop historical understanding of Pennsylvania's religious freedom heritage including William Penn's voyage and the U.S. Constitution's development

Applies to school districts, intermediate units, career and technical schools, charter schools, cyber charter schools, and regional charter schools

School entities may not use the materials in a manner that impacts existing curriculum requirements

Act takes effect in 30 days and expires June 30, 2027
